In the run up to Halloween, here at Profusion HQ we’ve been trying to ‘creep it real with some super fresh Halloween makeup looks using the Profusion range. For part one of our freak week series we’ve teamed up with Dominique from DMX Beauty to create the super spooky Venom inspired look!

Step 1: Use the Medium Contour shade from the Sculpt and Glow palette and a small eye-shadow brush to sketch out the eye and mouth. This will help get a rough idea of where everything will go.
Step 2: Using white face paint fill in the eye, using the grey shades from the Smoky Eyes palette around the edges of the inside of the eye to create some depth.
Step 3: Using white eyeliner, create some lighter parts to highlight and create more depth to the eye.
Step 4: Moving on to the mouth, use the Medium Contour shade from the Sculpt and Glow palette and a small eye-shadow brush again to sketch out Venom’s teeth. Make sure you leave some space above the teeth for gums.
Step 5: Then using the shade ‘Heavenly’ from the Naturals palette, fill in the gums.
Step 6: Next, use some white face paint to fill in the shapes of the teeth. Use various tones from the Contour palette to ‘dirty’ up the teeth and create some dimension.
Step 7: Use black face paint to fill in the gaps between the teeth. You can also use the black to clean up the shape of the teeth. Then set with shade ‘VIP’ from the Chocolates palette.
Step 8: Next, fill the rest of your face, ears and neck in black face paint (leaving out your other eye) and set with the same ‘VIP’ shadow to intensify the colour.
Step 9: Lastly, using white eyeliner, create some highlights around the eye, teeth and gums.
